The Bugleverse Wiki

The only wiki with the balls to document the whole Bugle News universe.

Character

Dennis Porter

Dennis Porter is a Bitcoin policy influencer and one of the Bugleverse’s foundational recurring subjects. His defining traits, established in the very first days of bugle.news coverage, are an unshakable conviction in his own importance and a metabolism that runs entirely on Twitter followers and meetings with important people.

Arc history

Porter’s canon opens in January 2023, when he declined an invitation to join the World Economic Forum’s Global Young Leaders. He delivered the announcement on someone else’s Twitter Spaces, then repackaged the audio for his own YouTube channel, explaining: “I was flattered that they considered me as an option to join their Global Young Leaders, but I feel that I can get more Twitter followers and meetings with important people on my own” (Dennis Porter Declines WEF Appointment). Mike Alfred publicly agreed with the decision, citing his own uncounted meetings with billionaires.

This episode is the founding beat of the Dennis Porter saga.

Associates

  • Mike Alfred — fellow connoisseur of meetings with important people; endorsed the WEF refusal.

irl: Dennis Porter is a real Bitcoin policy advocate (Satoshi Action Fund) known for high-volume announcements and photographs with politicians. The Bugleverse version exaggerates the self-importance only slightly.
