Character

Erin Redwing

Erin Redwing is co-host of the Hell Money Podcast with Casey Rodarmor — “the sister podcast to the Bugle” — and the runner-up of Maxi Madness 2026, where the two co-hosts met in the tournament’s first all-podcast final.

Maxi Madness

Seeded a mere 15th of 16 in the 2026 Hot region — a slight that by her own account invigorated her — she beat Ross Ulbricht in round one (“setting the tone for the insanity”), then Chris Seder and his tube-top campaign, then Justine Harper, winning the Hot region and taking out the PodCon region besides (victory spaces). Her campaign ran on TikTok dances; her own pick-em bracket had her losing earlier than she did. The final against Casey slipped away overnight to his Chinese fanbase, a result she accepted on her own terms: “I know that the real ones voted for me. And, like, Casey might have even voted for me, to be honest” (victory spaces @ 9:00), while filing the loss under precedent: “I’ll just do, like, Hillary Clinton secretary of state to Obama… this is sort of the way for women, I suppose” (victory spaces @ 34:12). A self-described “very sore loser,” she reserved the right to beat Casey in private, and is featured in the champion’s hand-drawn Pepe trophy. Pick-em winner Rob Hamilton apologized on air for having picked her to lose in round one: “I’m sorry I doubted you, Aaron. You crushed it.”

Accusations during the tournament that she was not a real maximalist were rejected from the ringmaster’s desk, conceding only that she “maybe was mining some Chia” in early 2020 (ep. 103).
