Red Team

The Red Team is the group the Bugle assigns to the dangerous end of AI work. In episode 121, Rod Palmer calls its members heroes risking AI psychosis in order to protect open-source software and preserve entropy.1

The Samson dispute

Greaser reports Red Team accusing Samson Mow of ignoring its vulnerability warning; Mow’s reported reply is that he does not listen to people with AI psychosis. The source records the accusation and reply, not the underlying vulnerability.2

The Liquid and Spark week

Timmy Tether Guest Hosts Bugle Weekly places Red Team on both sides of the week’s security ledger. Blockstream employees publicly dispute whether its findings were responsibly disclosed after the Liquid exploit,3 and the team then deploys to investigate receiving failures in Lightning wallets built on Spark. No conclusive impropriety is recorded by airtime.4
