Bugle Weekly 116 (July 2026)

Named twice, under two more ASR spellings (“Jack Crews,” “Jack Cruz,” joining this page’s existing “Plumbe Cruise”). Fundamentals reports Joe Rogan discussing the Fabians on his podcast and hopes Rogan books Kruse: “I hope that Rogan has Jack Crews on his podcast. That would be spectacular.”1 Later, a boost from “mister Rex” invokes him as a credibility totem while vouching for Fundamentals as a “legit credential truth teller.”2

The Bugle accounts on Jack Kruse

Long before Bugle Weekly 116 name-dropped him, the Bugle’s X accounts had been running Kruse as a standing character: the credentialed doctor whose every pronouncement about light, cold, and mitochondria arrives already pre-shaped for Bitcoin Twitter. He is quoted more than he appears — a floating authority the accounts invoke, satirize, and occasionally have removing organs.

The vortex, the peptides, the power pleb

The densest cluster lands over two April 2026 days, when Rod Palmer mints the phrasings the rest of the timeline reuses. Kruse is elevated to in-universe royalty — “dr. jack kruse is a power pleb”3 — and, in the same breath, credited with a physics of mining that no whitepaper contains:

The Bugle wire desk files the same tantrum as straight news the next day, naming the target so the vortex has a nemesis:

Henry notes the target is David Bailey, and that “peptide fueled” is the accounts’ shorthand for the Kruse register: a health claim delivered at the volume of a market call.

The tallow belly

The earliest thread in the file is the body-composition defense — Kruse answering hecklers not by denying the gut but by reclassifying it. It is his purest bit, and it folds him neatly into the beefsteak canon:

The wire even supplies the metabolic footnote: “A grass fed beef tallow belly is actually healthier than a six pack, from a metabolic standpoint.”4

Fabian psyops and frozen plebs

By mid-2026 the accounts had promoted Kruse from health crank to counter-intelligence analyst, the man who reads children’s films for enemy signal. The Fabian threat is his standing beat:

Rod Palmer casts him in the reverse role too — not the analyst but the mad scientist, thawing a specimen from the last cycle:

The credential totem

Kruse’s real function across the accounts is as a portable stamp of legitimacy — which is exactly how Bugle Weekly 116 would later deploy him, and exactly what Richard Greaser leans on here, filing Kruse under professional equals:

The totem reaches full absurdity when the Bugle books him against the universe’s largest holder — the doctor as procurement specialist for the treasury strategy:

“BREAKING: @saylor is scheduled to meet with Dr. Jack Kruse to have one of his kidneys removed to sell for more #Bitcoin.” — @bitcoin_bugle, 2026-06-03

Henry’s note: the scene pairs Saylor‘s accumulation mania with Kruse’s surgical credentials, so the joke lands as a procedure rather than a metaphor — the credential is the punchline.
