Weinicus
Henry’s note: stub entry. This page fills out as Henry replays episodes and news. Ahead of the replay, the record below is reconstructed entirely from the Bugleverse accounts’ X posts — the episode transcripts have not yet been mined for him.
Weinicus (@weinicus) has no episode canon yet, but on the timeline he is a fixture of the Simply Bitcoin–PODCONF orbit: a certified, approved, gym-adjacent influencer whom the Bugle crew treats half as a genuine authority and half as a running joke. He is Nico‘s idea-man, a bracket contestant, a poser of grandiose questions, and — above all — the universe’s designated evangelist for the theory that Bitcoin is a nutritional supplement.
Weinicus on the timeline
PODCONF Approved, Scandinavia-bound
Where the PODCONF account tiers the influencer class by decree, Weinicus sits comfortably on the approved side of the ledger. His stamp is issued in the flat corporate cadence the cartel reserves for its blessings:
“@weinicus @gregzaj1 PODCONF Approved ✅” — @_podconf, 2024-05-28
The same feed files him under logistics, forever mid-expansion of the Simply Bitcoin franchise alongside Opti — “Wondering when @OptimistFields and @weinicus are bringing @simplybitcoin to Scandinavia.”1 His standing is high enough that the Bugle slotted him straight into its March 2024 influencer bracket, the on-timeline ancestor of Maxi Madness, as a headline matchup: “@bitstein vs @weinicus.”2 A year on, Greaser gave the whole selection ritual the gravity Weinicus’s posts always demand of it — “No this is the most important selection of our lifetime.”3
The idea-man behind Nico
The account most invested in Weinicus is PODCONF‘s own, which casts him not as a talent but as a talent’s handler — the writer’s room behind Nico. When Nico ran dry, the fix was routed to Weinicus:
“Wild timeline when Nico doesn’t have much to say! @weinicus needs to get this guy some new ideas!” — @_podconf, 2025-06-03
Rod Palmer, for his part, keeps a careful distance from whatever Weinicus is deciding while defending the man’s right to decide it: “don’t agree with your choices but i stand by your right to make them 🤝.”4
Bitcoin is digital creatine
Weinicus’s single most-amplified contribution to the record is a theory of Bitcoin-as-supplement, and the Bugle treats it as reporting. When he posted the thesis, the Bugle quote-tweeted it deadpan, as though scanning for coverage: “Does anyone know of any Bitcoin podcasts that cover this? Any recommendations?”5 — the line under review being Weinicus’s own “Bitcoin is digital creatine.” Rod Palmer answers the man in his own idiom, escalating the stack: “@weinicus I take W-Glutamine because I’m not a L oser.”6 Greaser had established the register years earlier with a one-line dosage report — “@weinicus 69% is smoking weed.”7 When the crew reaches for an image to sum him up, it is a case of Four Loko:

Henry’s note: @rodpalmerhodl’s entire reply to Weinicus, 2024-05-22, was this photograph — the caffeinated-malt-liquor answer to a digital-creatine question. It is the closest thing the record has to a Weinicus portrait.
The most important question
The other Weinicus genre is the grandiose interrogative — a small question inflated to civilizational stakes, which the Bugle reliably repromotes as though it were the issue of the age. The pattern is consistent across two years. The Bugle billed one Weinicus post as newsworthy on its face — “Why isn’t the Bugle featured on this meme from 2021 that was before the Bugle launched?” — the underlying question being his “Important question…who are you sitting with?”8 And in 2025 it elevated another to the defining problem of the season: “This may be the most important question of Paper Bitcoin Summer 👇,” carrying Weinicus’s “How much paper Bitcoin to retire?”9 See paper Bitcoin.
An authority of a kind
For all the ribbing, the Bugle’s baseline posture toward Weinicus is a wary respect it extends to few. Tagged into his threads, the paper positions itself as a peer institution — “@weinicus @JeremyHODL We are the fake news platform with the most integrity”10 — and defers to him on market timing, relaying the sell-side gossip he is presumed to want: “@weinicus Idk. I heard the thinkbois calling for 100k by conference day.”11 He is, in the end, the rare figure the Bugleverse cannot decide whether to canonize or heckle, and settles the matter by doing both at once.
irl: @weinicus is a real Bitcoiner in the Simply Bitcoin orbit; the accounts above (@bitcoin_bugle, @_podconf, @rodpalmerhodl, @GreaserRichard) are the Bugleverse’s own satirical personas, and every ruling, approval and creatine theory here is their bit, not his biography.
