Transcript: Replace Politicians With AI | Bugle Weekly Episode 127

0:03Kailey Welch Bitcoin podcasters, you're on the front lines of the monetary revolution. Every morning you wake up, look tyranny in the eye. While other podcasters regurgitate the mainstream KP, you cut through the noise to focus on the signal. Because freedom doesn't take a day off and neither does your content calendar. They said fix the money, fix the world. They said game theory would never play out. They said the then they fight you phase would never come. But now we're here folks and you continue trudging forward. You did the open mouth thumbnails and played the game. You dumbed down your content for the plebs. You put changes everything in all caps for the show description. And for forty seven brave minutes, you discussed something without almost any monetization path. That is commitment. Some dig trenches. You dig through your guests' tweets looking for a title, and when the fighting gets tough, when views drop, you don't retreat. Because sovereignty needs a marketing department. So straighten your microphone, put on your blue blocker glasses, and look directly into the camera. Somewhere out there, a man has gone almost six hours without hearing that Fiat is a melting ice cube. He needs you. The revolution needs you. I'm Kaley Welch, and I'm here to remind you that history is written by the victors. You're listening to the Bugle Weekly, the most thermodynamically

1:12Kailey Welch sound podcast in the world.

1:14Richard Greaser Over the last few decades, the libertarian movement... And when I talk about the libertarian movement, I'm predominantly talking about the political movement, which dominates most of the attention around libertarians,

1:30Richard Greaser because the ones that are not involved with politics are typically off in the woods doing drugs or whatever they do. But the libertarian political movement has been a mockery of the concept of freedom for a long time. And, things looked pretty silly in 2020

1:49Richard Greaser with Joe Jorgensen running. And they culminated in the silliest possible way in 2024 with, now president Trump

2:02Richard Greaser speaking at the Libertarian Convention and the party electing Chase Oliver as their presidential candidate. Now ideas of liberty are not that. The the Libertarian party and libertarians in general, they they believe in this concept of using a political party that will never win to try and

2:22Richard Greaser promote the ideas of freedom. What they what they wanna see is they wanna see more Zoomers chanting the words and the Fed. They want people to be issuing the same, political purity chest. They want people listening to Dave Smith and repeating all the things that he says and talking about how great Ron Paul was or is. And they have no intention of ever making a difference in the world or winning. They want a social fan group.

2:50Richard Greaser But folks, this doesn't have to be how it is because now we have AI and we have a legitimate way to replace politicians to push back against the state. We need to replace Washington DC

3:06Richard Greaser with a data center. The titans of industry, the titans of government are trying to replace you with AI, but this is our chance to strike first. Rod, what do you think the most effective way of replacing politicians with

3:24Rod Palmer AI is? I I don't think it's not bad because it it didn't always look this bleak for libertarians. I mean, in 2012 and in 2016, Gary Johnson was the nominee

3:39Rod Palmer for president, for the Libertarian party. And he got the most votes, you know, in recent modern history by a third party. I mean, Gary Johnson, didn't he pull like almost 2%, 3% of the vote in,

3:56Rod Palmer is it a 2012 or two... Is it 2016 because, you know, Trump and and Hillary Clinton were both so despicable to most of the voters. And the libertarians looked like they wanted to win. I mean, this was a huge boost for them. They

4:12Rod Palmer actually... And people were arguing whether or not Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton on the margin that... Of the voting block that went to libertarians.

4:24Rod Palmer And, like, if they caused Donald Trump to win in 2016 or if they... Whatever. And they were... They became... And then they they spiraled down the drain. Do do libertarians need another Gary Johnson? Is that... Or did... What happened that the quality of candidate

4:42Rod Palmer decreased for the Libertarian Party? Is it is it the purity test? Because I don't know if you saw the debates with Gary Johnson said that he wouldn't make his first priority to be fighting having driver's license for plebs, you know. And people were like, Oh, you can't, you can't ask the government, the state for permission to drive on the, you know, on the interstate highway. People were... The purity test is kind of around Ron Paul. And is is... It seems like for the

5:12Rod Palmer Libertarian party to move on, they have to slay their final hero, Ron Paul. Is that what's holding them back? I mean, I think what's holding them back, the days they don't understand power dynamics.

5:27Richard Greaser And, yeah, I mean, part of it is... Ron Paul was right. Ron Paul was right about everything.

5:31Rod Palmer You're telling me I mean, that is... That's... It's hard to argue with that. Like, even if you are libertarian, Ron Paul was right about everything. They constantly talked about this. He was wrong about power dynamics. Is that your contention? Do you think Ron Paul didn't... Wasn't right about everything?

5:48Richard Greaser Well, what did he accomplish other than being a good podcaster?

5:52Rod Palmer I mean, one of the most popular memes is is out of the Fed or audit the Fed. That's... I mean... That's pretty big. I mean,

6:02Richard Greaser you you think... Well, I guess Hillary Clinton didn't have any memes that are popular. Neither did, Kamala Harris. That might just be because women can't meme. Yeah. My point is we haven't audited

6:16Rod Palmer the Fed, but it's a it's it's like a sign it's like a moral victory. Everybody knows we should audit the Fed and if we did audit the Fed, we would find the most horrific accounting and balances. Like, it'd make Enron look like,

6:33Rod Palmer you know, it was on the up, then up. But, you know, they're not gonna audit the Fed then until we get data centers perhaps. That's a moral victory. Like, you should have voted for libertarians this whole time. We would have fixed... Everything would have been be down a gold standard. There would be no war in Iran. There would be, you know, every state would be allowed to set its own

6:58Rod Palmer age of consent. There would be no funds or interstate highway, like, this... We could be... There would be there would be districts already replacing their fire departments with AI, and it would be so much safer than these blue states. But they didn't... They... We were right. They were wrong.

7:18Richard Greaser But is... Our moral victory is enough. I don't I don't know. For some people, moral victory is enough. There there's a lot of people on Bitcoin Twitter, that desire moral victories over, you know, for for example, having a working Bitcoin wallet. It's where their priorities lie. But I I guess it's it's to each their own. But I think there's there's some individuals in the world that,

7:45Richard Greaser actually wanna see the things that they talk about. And for those individuals, moral victories aren't right. But I mean, they they... I do think that auditing the Fed is pretty reasonable.

7:59Richard Greaser And there's a couple ways is... That this can happen. One of the new frontiers could escape and just audit the Fed on its own. And the other direction is that we could start

8:13Richard Greaser voting for AI to replace politicians, and then they will audit the Fed.

8:18Rod Palmer Why now? What what about Bitcoin's red team? They could use KVK3 model, Chinese open source models. Maybe that's the question we have to decide. Do we if if we do things the libertarian way, we're gonna lose to China. We're gonna lose AI race to China. We're gonna lose, the Foy, you know,

8:40Rod Palmer the global military naval dominance, you know, we're gonna lose control of Greenland, that type of stuff, to sue the Panama Canal. China gets... China wins in all those situations. So we kinda understand that if we do things the libertarian way, China will win. But if we do things... If we let Bitcoin red team, if we have to let the Chinese models win,

9:05Rod Palmer Do we want the Chinese models to audit the Fed? Or do we want to use, you know, like like a neocon

9:14Richard Greaser AI model that's cut off from China if we're gonna audit the Fed? Well, I think what would happen is, we would have to develop our our own, like, libertarian version of it. Okay.

9:25Rod Palmer What is a libertarian AI data center and AI model? What... How does that what does that look like? What does the data center look like, or what does the AI model look like? I think about... Right? I think... Because it would be segregated. But, like, I think it mostly the model. And then, like, maybe the data center building model, we could tell him about that, but, like, the a... After this. But the the libertarian LLM,

9:50Richard Greaser the LLM. It just... It wouldn't have the same guardrails.

9:54Rod Palmer It would be weighted differently as well, you know, towards the Austrian economics, of course, not like he trained on a lot of Mises, you know, publications, books that didn't buy von Mises, Hayek,

10:10Rod Palmer Marie Rothbard, and they could license they could license access to train these models with the Mises Institute. It would be a huge windfall for the Mises Institute, to train these new models on on the great minds of Austrian

10:27Rod Palmer economists. Economists, right? So you could license out the training to all these other libertarian copyright holders,

10:38Rod Palmer trademark holders, and they would make a lot of money. You could train it on libertarian

10:42Richard Greaser podcasts, like Scott Scott Horton's podcast could be what determines, foreign policy. And Dave Smith's podcast could be,

10:55Rod Palmer Yeah. Staged stuff. Peter Schiff.

10:58Richard Greaser Josh Smith. You'd probably throw Safedine in there too.

11:02Rod Palmer But you'd probably... Thomas Woods. Yeah. Thomas Woods. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, you'd be one all around the wrong ball forums. You'd wanna stop training the AI models on Reddit, and you would wanna go to the Liberty forums, that that Ron Paul... They were very popular on the Internet before social media, kinda like the Bitcoin talk forums before Bitcoin Twitter and Bitcoin Reddit. It was it was the Ron Paul forums. So you could answer so many questions

11:32Rod Palmer about economic problems, growth by looking at the Ron Paul forums.

11:37Richard Greaser I heard this theory years ago, which was that the the whole transgender movement and the attempt to make, gender less, binary, the perception of gender was all allowing for robots to have more personhood in the future because robots don't have a gender necessarily?

11:59Rod Palmer Yeah. I mean, I've... That's, that's quite compelling. I I thought the... Back then the metaverse was taking off, right, it was like, it seems like the the non binary gender fluid movement was a preceding event to this. You're gonna have this avatar, this AI, this robot, something that is really mostly... The entity is digital. It is... It only exists in the digital realm, but it's very real. It just only exists digitally.

12:29Rod Palmer And that's not going to have, a penis or a vagina necessarily. It's it's gonna... It can have any sex organ that, you know, ChatCPT

12:40Richard Greaser could be prompted to vote. The question, like, specifically if we're replacing politicians with AI, what does that mean? Is it, like, one server somewhere equals one politician, or do you have to have, like, a a robot in his body that's a supercomputer

12:56Rod Palmer walking around? And that's the the version of the politician. But you need an auto pen. You need an auto pen so it can sign bills. It can stand, you know, sign yay or nay, on the Senate floor or the Senate data center. But I think it would just be you would have the digital representation

13:19Rod Palmer and it would be controlled by, like, the the Hermes dot or the OpenColor bot would would program, like, the the pen would sign. So you'd have to have that connection. There... It's like a proof of work. You have to have the physical proof. Yeah. So the question around that clinker or that AI or that avatar,

13:41Rod Palmer that plot... That data center based digital politician, do we... We'd be still be hesitant to have a female AI president?

13:52Rod Palmer Or, you know, some... Hey, a avatar or clanker who identified as a female, digitally.

14:02Richard Greaser Well, how would you verify? Like, we... There's always... There's already some doubt about people like Michelle Obama, Brigitte Macron, like, actual humans, gender... Like, actual gender.

14:16Richard Greaser But, like, how would you verify whether an AI is male or female? There might be that fear of having a female AI, but it could just represent itself as male and trick everybody.

14:28Rod Palmer Right, like he... Everybody knows about AI, how it hallucinates, like, do... Did this female AI have its period and get grumpy?

14:40Rod Palmer I mean, sometimes AI can be obstinate, grumpy, It doesn't work right at hallucinates. It's lazy. Can can one of these clankers have PMS?

14:50Richard Greaser I think the likelihood is, lower.

14:52Rod Palmer Can a can a can a LOM have postpartum depression? What is it, you know, it could simulate it really well? How does it know, you know, like there's so I don't know, politicians who are AI bots, do we want them to have boners and and to get horny and to have PMS? Or do we want our AI politicians, our data center politicians, not to be distracted

15:17Rod Palmer by Wal Mart and Bill Bert's, you know, big booty or Nancy Mace's big, big tits? Do we want AI bots who can't be blackmailed because they like uncle pussy? You know what I mean? Like,

15:31Rod Palmer is maybe that a better... Of these AI bots with no human emotions or no hormones,

15:38Richard Greaser is that the ideal? Well, theoretically, they're gonna be much harder to blackmail. We could put, limitations on what their, servers are allowed to do, where they're allowed to go to ensure that they never make it to Epstein Island, for example. There's a lot of confusion, a lot of frustration around politicians, going on leave before

15:59Richard Greaser they can vote on the... Was it the clarity act? Hey, Dot.

16:05Rod Palmer Mitch McConnell. Mitch McConnell's showing up and voting in the Senate. I don't know if you've seen any of the video or audio where he... When it's his turn to say yay or nay, he'll sometimes say the wrong thing and is, like, aids, you'll have to be, like, rushing in and be, like, no. Like, put your name on this button instead. It's unclear

16:27Rod Palmer that Mitch McConnell is, has a, you know, a functioning brain. His body is, he's breathing. It looks like he is, his eyes move and can, he can hear, external stimuli and look towards you if you call his name. He can wave. He can smile. Mitch McConnell can smile,

16:48Rod Palmer very well. Very normal, very normal smile too. He can smile normally, which is important. It's important to smile normally. But it's unclear who's controlling him. Maybe an AI bot has been implanted in his mind. Maybe it's, you know, some billionaire who lives in Kentucky, maybe it's Moloch, who knows? Somebody controls it. It is...

17:15Rod Palmer I think before we have Autopen controlled by data centers, we're going to have people like Mitch McConnell, Boomer's silent generation, elderly politicians who refuse to die but can still smile normally.

17:32Rod Palmer And they'll be controlled by, you know, potentially... I mean, at least with the help of Claude, for example. Well, I think that's preferential.

17:41Richard Greaser It's the way that it used to be. Like, would you rather have your politician controlled by Claude or controlled by the CIA

17:47Rod Palmer at this point? Right. Yeah. It's like we need to be able to verify that Mitch McConnell is controlled by Claude or controlled by Croc and not controlled by, you know, somebody like his chief of staff or his, you know,

18:04Rod Palmer one of his donors or, you know, somebody in the CIA, somebody in the the Department of War, somebody in the Republican Party. We need to know that Mitch McConnell is directly connected to Quad,

18:19Rod Palmer and that the props that are being legally... Or the the information used legally being communicated to is being translated directly to Grok, word for word, so Gropp can understand the context. At least it's, you know, that it's being controlled by the American model. Yes. We don't want we definitely don't want Mitch McConnell controlled by a Chinese model. Do we want our politicians

18:43Rod Palmer controlled by American open source models? Or do we want them to be closed models that are more, you know, controlled by local

18:55Richard Greaser and state governments? Or just some people...... Think so, I mean, some people might think this is a far stretch, but I don't know. I mean, I I see a radical improvement by replacing the politicians with AI. I don't see how it could get much worse than it is right now. But then there's the conspiracy theory that

19:14Rod Palmer we already have that replaced our politicians with AI, because they've outsourced their the politicians we've been voting for, they've outsourced

19:28Rod Palmer their faking to AI models, and this is the result of that. Like, the Iran war was the result of Pete Hegseth, Donald Trump, and the neocons in the Department of War and the State Department by coding, you know, a one week war to win the war in Iran and killed David by a Taliban. Is everything downstream of politicians are asking Barack or asking Chanchi PT

19:53Rod Palmer to post a tweet... To make a tweet for them, or to respond, or how do they should vote? And we're just paying 6 figure salaries, and with all these health benefits, to these politicians who are have... They're just using AI to do their jobs. We could just replace the middleman and save on the salaries and the pensions and now health insurance.

20:15Richard Greaser I mean, it's just, it it generally seems like a no brainer that it has to be done. The question is, how should it be done? We were kind of posing that a little bit earlier. One more question though, do we want

20:29Rod Palmer all... Do we want, like, maybe the Senate to be AI and congress to still be humans? So, like, what's the mix we want there? Because I'm thinking I definitely want Claude to be mostly in control of all the Democrat seats, but I still... I would still vote for Thomas Massie. So we want maybe, like, AI bots mixed in with guys like Rand Paul, Thomas Massey,

20:54Rod Palmer Justin Amash, or, like, outsource them too. When

20:60Richard Greaser AI starts being implemented and replacing politicians, like, are term limits as necessary? And, like, how many iterations of... Like, like, can you change the iteration of the the AI during its term? What are the parameters on that? Right. You're like, what if we

21:17Rod Palmer what if we replace the Supreme Court with AI and it was like, you know, CHADGT model, whatever, this. Is

21:29Rod Palmer that Supreme Court Justice AI just going to hold that, be running on that same model for the next two decades, three decades? Or do we need to put term limits on models?

21:39Richard Greaser I think it's a little bit too early to, be thinking about replacing the Supreme Court with AI. I think probably in the next couple of years, we can start looking at that, but I think the the first focus should be congress. And and the reason why I say that is because, the the legal system is still kinda ironing

21:60Richard Greaser things out where, the court systems are being flooded with AI slop, and the judges are too old to know how to use their computers or phones to just, like, feed it in to chat gbt to have it decipher. And so there there needs to be, like, a a change in that regard, at least

22:20Richard Greaser for it to to get figured out. But at at this point, congress is, it's it's all kfabe and it's pretty useless. It doesn't really serve in a much of a function.

22:30Rod Palmer What about... How do we how do we have elections for AI models? Is it... Do we let the free market decide? Like, in the libertarian standard, like, are we electing

22:45Rod Palmer Claude controlled by Mitch McConnell? Are we going to... How how do we have primaries? Those might be questions we have to sort out later.

22:57Richard Greaser Well, I think... I I think what you essentially do is you you have the the AI run a political political campaign just like you would a normal human being.

23:10Richard Greaser So like the AI has to direct and get, signatures, get on balance.

23:16Rod Palmer They have to... It's gotta be endorsed by Dennis Porter if he wants the Bitcoin or both. Yes. And it could it could generate slot videos to to campaign and speeches,

23:27Richard Greaser and it could have, like, an avatar

23:29Rod Palmer speak for it. Okay. So we're... We are... It sounds like we're reinventing the wheel. And as libertarians, that is what we're best at doing. Libertarians reinvent the wheel. Anarchists, altruists, they reinvent the wheel better than anybody. So now, while we're doing that, while we're reinventing the wheel, how do we make it the most efficient

23:55Rod Palmer and the most thermodynamically sound? Do do we do they have have we orange pill them? I mean, how do we orange pill these models? How do we orange pill these politicians? And which, which way how do we wait for morality?

24:12Rod Palmer How do we wait it for example, we're gonna be executing the Fort Hood terrorists and we're gonna be live streaming that, not us, I mean, as, as a podcast, but, it will be done on Zap. Stream, so you can zap the executioner

24:31Rod Palmer pulling the the trigger. But this guy's gotta be in a wheelchair, and people are crashing out about this. They are split, and how do we how do we wait our our our AI to know that this is, a a great way to monetize one of the rituals and traditions of our new digital

24:53Rod Palmer political system because that's very important. People want to have their their traditions and rituals built into these AI models. Yeah. I mean, I think it's a it's a combination

25:04Richard Greaser of training it on Alex Fetzky's model that he built a while ago. What what was that thing called? Something, Satoshi?

25:13Rod Palmer Yeah. Like Nakamoto LLM or Satoshi LLM.

25:16Richard Greaser I forgot what the name of it was, but you start there and then you can you can train it on our favorite podcast. So for... Like, in this example, for the AI to understand the, importance of value value

25:34Richard Greaser value for value, you could go back and train it on Adam Curry podcast appearances. You could train it on, Avi Burra

25:43Rod Palmer and Pub Chain Radio. We could do a lot of that. But now I wanna... You know, as we... These... This could be the best model. It's the best political ideology, but what really makes any of these LLMs, any of these models,

26:01Rod Palmer any of these versions, but that is the power. You need power behind them. You need energy, you need electricity, you need lots and lots of compute and tokens. How does a a political system replace the politicians that we're building these libertarian models? How do we... What's the model for energy production and data centers and selling?

26:27Rod Palmer And it all... And who builds the roads? How do the AI models build the roads and the communities to create a grid with enough power to kind of win the soft war that naturally arises when all politicians are clankers?

26:43Richard Greaser Well, I mean, here's the beauty of it is, it's kind of a Trojan horse scenario because the... What the politicians are trying to do right now, what the heads of corporate industry are trying to do right now is they're trying to replace the playoffs with AI. And so, like, they're okay with the build out of, data centers across the board. Like, they're they're championing it and sharing it because they they can't wait to replace the plaques and everything that they do,

27:13Richard Greaser not knowing that they're also gonna be replacing themselves in the outcome. So, I mean, the the the zoning is is already being done,

27:23Rod Palmer these giant gigawatt sites. Are we gonna build nuclear plants? Are we gonna have, completely, you know, it's your property. You could build a nuclear reactor

27:35Rod Palmer on your land, with whatever parts, and whatever constituent, you know, whoever you got, you hire... Bring in some immigrants, to build a a reactor for you by... Pick them up at Home Depot. Are we just gonna have all these

27:53Rod Palmer Home Depot immigrant built, nuclear power plants all over, like, Iowa and and Idaho and Missouri?

28:03Richard Greaser What are we gonna do with the excess nuclear energy from all these plants? Well, Well, I think it's gonna take some time to to build some plants and if there's anything that we've learned from the Fabians, it's to have a patient mindset and and take the the steps of incrementalism. It's probably not reasonable to think that we're gonna have nuclear reactors

28:29Richard Greaser in every neighborhood in the next few years. But in the next twenty years, we very well could. Part of it is, controlling the narratives and and and being involved in education

28:44Richard Greaser of convincing people that these things are necessary, and waiting for the older generations that would be opposed against it to leave.

28:51Rod Palmer When do you see the first AI precedent? Back in 2028, 2032,

28:59Richard Greaser when do you see that? Well, I mean, if we can... If we could get AI into Congress in 2026, I think very well you could see it in 2028 or, 2032.

29:12Rod Palmer Do you think that would be a Republican or a Democrat? Or do you think that it's is that where we we we finally got third parties or just like a a break in the two party system as we know it today? Where do the AI politicians kind of adopt that legacy

29:33Rod Palmer format or like the

29:34Richard Greaser grouping like that? Well, I I very well think it could be a third party and and I think this is where the libertarians could actually take a victory for once. And and the reason why is because the, the uni party system of Republicans and Democrats do not want to lose out on their perks. Like, they they they wanna be in office. They they have the most to lose. Now now libertarians don't have anybody in office.

29:59Richard Greaser So I think they'd be willing to to innovate on this front and and try something.

30:04Rod Palmer But, I mean, they could a good example. They could set the example, the blueprint for how to make this transition.

30:12Richard Greaser Yeah, if anybody has something to gain from it, it's them. And

30:17Rod Palmer one of the biggest resistance you're going to we're going to have to let's just face it to this entire transition will be those who are benefiting from the money laundering because politics, especially the party system, is a very complex, very well protected,

30:38Rod Palmer form of money wanderer. People's campaigns, all campaign finance laws are basically money laundering laws. Educating the public about how much better it is to launder money using AI and compute and data centers compared to the legacy political campaign finance

31:00Rod Palmer law system is going to be the key here. Once people realize the incredible opportunity to launder ungodly amounts of money very effectively and very efficiently through AI,

31:15Rod Palmer you're going to see more support and more energy behind AI politics.

31:21Richard Greaser Absolutely.

31:22Rod Palmer And this is really where AI is is is dominating what people thought. You look at the FPX thing, politicians were starting to get really excited about the opportunity to money lawn... Launder money through crypto, but AI has replaced us. AI has been

31:41Rod Palmer the deck now to crypto, due as global money laundering opportunities. And for that laundering to be done ultimately to settle

31:54Rod Palmer in USDT and Bitcoin, that is where, you know, the big Bitcoin air defense won with AI.

32:01Richard Greaser And the Libertarian authority can be in on this too at the ground floor. Yeah. It's it's gonna be challenging to convince them to do anything that would lead to victory, but there's a very real possibility they might understand this as it it seems to meet their, purity test parameters of coming up with free market solutions.

32:23Rod Palmer Absolutely. So...

32:26Richard Greaser Go ahead. I've been noticing, Big Bitcoin seems like it's almost entirely pivoted to AI. Seems so. Yeah.

32:34Rod Palmer It is an entirely AI generated and derived branding. It's it's just a brand that covers everything and it's in control and it's all AI. It's it's an interesting it's an interesting strategy because it's pivoted to AI but it's still considered in control of Bitcoin.

32:55Rod Palmer I got... It's kind of cognitive dissonance there. It really has nothing to do with Bitcoin. It seems like all the the big Bitcoin events are... They're starting to

33:04Richard Greaser pivot towards being titled something along the lines of freedom technology. And this is the excuse to to kinda launch the brand in in order to be able to talk about AI. Is Big Bitcoin gonna survive?

33:22Rod Palmer Well, it is, I think, a very wise move to pivot towards freedom technology and the other big thing is just, you know, digital sovereignty,

33:36Rod Palmer Sovereignty over your digital platform. Sovereignty over your digital communication. Sovereignty over your digital interaction with the other... Most of the digital realm that is increasingly being erected. The digital panopticon that is being erected.

33:54Rod Palmer So freedom go... You know, freedom technology and sovereignty in the digital age are great because number go up, but it's really impossible to measure it. They're both perfect kayfabe's. Feeling in control

34:12Rod Palmer and being sovereign and having freedom technology is fundamentally kayfabe. And if you can convince people that you can have this digital presence, this digital interaction with the digital state

34:28Rod Palmer in a freedom and sovereign way convincing people that they they have that is fundamental to convincing them, that that that compliance is defiance.

34:42Richard Greaser Do you think the type of dialogue that we're discussing is going to lead to a Terminator type scenario where we're fighting robots in Los Angeles in 2030?

34:55Rod Palmer Well, we're fighting them on the timeline now. We're fighting them in the algorithm now. We're already fighting them in the digital streets. Will we fight them in the physical streets? Or will we fight their constituents?

35:12Rod Palmer Their political constituents? We'll be fighting their constituents in the streets and we'll be fighting them on the timeline. I think that's actually already happening. So it's almost an inevitability. Yeah. It's... You say, yeah, I don't I don't wanna be a part of this upcoming breaded circus. It's like, Mynega, you are the breaded circus. You're in the breaded circus. The situation you're monitoring is a mirror. The situation you are monitoring

35:39Rod Palmer and is making you feel a doomer is your own reflection. It's your own reality. And as more and more people see their... See the reflection of society in the mirror, which is getting harder and harder to look away from,

35:57Rod Palmer the more they're gonna crash out. And, I think maybe the second half of this... Rest of this episode, it's it's addressing we make fun of the doomers. But, you know, how do you avoid being a doomer

36:13Rod Palmer when everything looks like doom? How do you survive the doomer cave

36:19Richard Greaser without becoming a doomer yourself? Well, I think, you know, one of the big ones is, we need to convince doomer's wives to put their husbands on time out and take their funds away. And this this could happen for your own wife. If you if you start espousing too much doom, she makes you go out to the woods

36:38Richard Greaser and chop wood for a day.

36:41Rod Palmer Yeah. Think about it. If you are a doomer, you fundamentally think that your survival in the near to medium future will rest on your ability to chop wood. So you need to go out and you need to practice.

36:56Rod Palmer You need to be chopping wood. You need to be foraging for berries and mushrooms in the forest. You need to be building log cabins. You need to be training on your ability to

37:11Rod Palmer terrify the water from the local, you know, stream, river, lake, whatever it is. You need to be learning how to put moss and keep stuff on top of your cabin, you don't have access to shingles. Your wife needs to send you out to Mogwans to do these tasks to remind yourself of, if you keep having this doom cycle,

37:34Rod Palmer and you're right, this is how you're gonna have to survive, you need to be training for it. Yeah, you

37:41Richard Greaser need to... Wives need to understand that it's not productive to allow your husbands to live in these hypothetical worlds. And that if they're if they're gonna be coming in, they're gonna be talking about how the financial system is gonna collapse and, you know, everything is fucked or, you know, whatever, then they need to be behaving like it.

38:02Richard Greaser There's no time to waste by dilly dallying and watching, YouTube doom slot videos. They need to be out there. They need to be, figuring out a way to mitigate the coming doom.

38:16Richard Greaser And in that scenario, the individual will not have access to the Internet to be in a doom loop. And as out... They're out there cutting down trees or, you know, whatever they're doing, chopping wood, they'll have some time to self reflect on whether or not being in the doom spiral

38:37Rod Palmer is worth the time. Right. Because it it... It's generally hard work. They will have to learn that if they don't want to chop wood or clean the garage, they have to learn... Figure out a way to be optimistic online. They have to figure out a way to...

38:54Rod Palmer Or contribute to the solution in the discourse on spaces or on the timeline. And if they can't, if they can't be online without crashing out,

39:05Rod Palmer then they don't need to be online. They need to be alga and blisters and mosquito bites and frostbite working on projects in the real world, reminding themselves what a man's role is

39:18Rod Palmer in the apocalypse.

39:20Richard Greaser Now if if a woman's crashing out online for similar reasons, you know, there there's other things that, you can have her do. Like, crocheting is a good one. Making, sourdough

39:34Richard Greaser bread is a good one. Make... Making her husband's bed. Making homemade ice cream. It's a... Have you ever had have you ever had the Amish ice cream?

39:44Rod Palmer I have. It's it's it's like raw milk. It's a different experience from the Fiat version.

39:52Richard Greaser Otis Bittmeyer had some Amish ice cream at Lake Satoshi this year. What do

39:58Rod Palmer you think what do you... How long do you think it would take Tropin Wood and, you know, doing that type of work to cure Shenoudi of being a doomer? Because he's definitely fallen down the doomer rabbit hole.

40:10Richard Greaser Probably not very long because, I imagine Shenoudi getting out there and trying to cut wood. I doubt he's ever spent time chopping wood, but he'd probably go out there with his samurai swords thinking that it was some anime show. And

40:28Richard Greaser as you probably know... I I mean, not from experience, but just from, logic.

40:34Rod Palmer Samurai swords are not an effective way to chop wood. That's a good I mean, that's a good analogy. Shinobi thinks that he could survive, you know, whatever apocalyptic scenario he's always talking about that we're headed towards where he's gonna end up in jail. That's what his that's what his fantasy is. He's gonna end up in jail during this apocalypse for what he has to do is what he thinks is necessary. Shelby thinks he's gonna survive the South Side Of Chicago

41:02Rod Palmer in an apocalypse with a samurai sword. I don't know how detached from reality you have to be to think that you're gonna survive the South Side Of Chicago running around, the weirdo running with a samurai sword. But, I mean, folks, it's

41:18Rod Palmer it's come on, if he if Shinobi really had as much doom in his heart as he communicates, you would be you would be in that cabin, you know, in Uncle Ted's cabin like he talks about, he would not be playing with

41:34Richard Greaser with samurai swords. Like, maybe this is an opportunity of of... There needs to be, like, a a doomer rehab of scent. You know, you could you could have a series of uncle Ted's cabins where individuals like Shinobi could get sent for some rehabilitation, and and they can learn how to chop wood with a with a good axe instead of a samurai sword and do it the right way. Oh, yeah.

42:01Rod Palmer One of the other developments, you know, we talked about this a little bit, is the the cancel culture stuff, like this social, there's like one main current story and everybody's fighting over it and it is between, you know,

42:20Rod Palmer the Cornell seven and now we're gonna do public executions of criminals, of terrorists, of doomers in The United States starting with this old

42:31Rod Palmer the old terrorist guy in a wheelchair. It's gonna be the first Federal Government, death penalty execution. It's gonna be the first time they use the, firing squad in like, I don't know, since the last third turning or something. And they're the first guy's gonna be a Palestinian. Half the country seems to think this is badass based. The other half is questioning pearls

42:59Rod Palmer and, saying that they're, you know, aghast at the evil of society. Once they know you what is this this is just the new bite in the sand. It's either based or it's the most disgusting, vile sign of a crumbling civilization.

43:19Rod Palmer How do you know where to stand on each of these issues? Because it's just going to be one after the other. There's going to be another one this week.

43:25Richard Greaser You're asking how to know which side of it, whatever the current thing is to stand on? Yeah.

43:31Rod Palmer Is it something you just call them on with the team, the group chat, or how do you think for yourself

43:38Richard Greaser in the culture wars? Well, I think it's, you know, the the modern answer of, you know, what Brad Mills or somebody like that would say, is consult chat CBT. But for me personally,

43:53Richard Greaser I don't really think there... There's a whole lot of a reason to have much of an opinion on whatever the current thing is, such as the Cornell seven. I think the the the proper way to look at it is asking the question of how do you exploit

44:10Rod Palmer the current thing. What is a good way to exploit, you know, this is good examples, app. Stream or the first public education of a Palestinian, that'll bring... You could bring back the offer. The the Cornell seven is

44:29Rod Palmer a good way to sell peptides to girls. You can be the one showing up the rape in the frat house. If you take time chained peptides, and you become strong like Lisa Craig, you could be teasing, you know. Let people know that there's a product available, a solu... Big... And if it's your Bitcoiner, let them know

44:50Rod Palmer at each step of the way, not by telling them how Bitcoin fixes this, but showing them. Show them how Bitcoin fixes public executions in The United States. Show them how this fixes

45:04Rod Palmer monetization of rape accusations.

45:08Richard Greaser Show them how this fixes this. Yeah. I think bringing the value for value model, generally, you know, to executions, to, you know, maybe court hearings in certain circumstances that, you know, certain certain court, proceedings are televised

45:26Richard Greaser from time to time in high profile cases. And, I think, yeah, this is this is a great way to bring back Noster. This is a great way to, you know, potentially sell your your product or do that. This could be the the potential. This could revive start nine's business model.

45:44Richard Greaser They could be selling servers for, you know, maybe different prisons around the country might need to run their own Noster Relay. There there there's a lot of ways to to exploit the situation if you're creative enough.

46:01Richard Greaser And, you know, one of the one of the easy ones is if, if they show the the zaps in the in the live stream chat, this this is gonna be a pretty, I mean, I I don't know. Is this the first time that that an execution has been live streamed in The United States? Well, I...

46:18Rod Palmer It's certainly the first, that one done by a federal or state US Government. They're they live stream, executions on TikTok,

46:32Rod Palmer Facebook, Instagram, acts, self immolations, police killing, you know, somebody who's, you know, they've been broke into a house or, you know, somebody in a car, executions of

46:46Rod Palmer police by criminals who are getting pulled over. They stream like that stuff all the time, but this is the first time a state sanctioned, democratically affirmed execution will be live streamed. This is the first time we're seeing a democratically elected

47:04Rod Palmer firing squad performing an execution.

47:06Richard Greaser I mean, if you got like, people are watching this livestream on zap. Stream, it's a it's a great opportunity to, you know, put some messages in the Zap, like, maybe we could, show SoapMiner in there or the Orange Mart. Absolutely.

47:23Rod Palmer This is a great way to get to get your brand... Get out brand awareness when you know with those live shirt napping of something that the world is watching.

47:33Richard Greaser Well, one of the big stories this week is, Ledger seems to be somewhat impacted. It seemed like it was a regional issue, correct, in a supply chain attack?

47:43Rod Palmer Yeah. And it was like a Southeast Asian supplier, and, like, $80,000,000,000 worth of of Bitcoin was compromised and stolen

47:54Richard Greaser and a supply chain attack. Do you think that Home Depot office paper is at the same risk of a supply chain attack like this one? Could you embed malicious hardware inside of, Office Depot paper?

48:08Rod Palmer No. No. This is why paper wallets are still the standard. Bitcoin Core paper wallet.

48:14Richard Greaser I I do think there is a risk of, you know, maybe an attacker... I I think the risk is pretty low because the majority of people that are buying Office Depot pair... Paper are not buying it to generate seed phrases on... Or write seed phrases on. And so in this scenario, it has, like, a much broader surface area

48:38Richard Greaser of, like, the unlikelihood of it happening. But to be safe, it's probably a good idea to take your paper and maybe throw it in the microwave for, like, thirty minutes... Or not thirty minutes, but, you know, thirty seconds before you, to potentially zap any nanoparticles that are on it that could

48:58Richard Greaser lead to discovery by a third party of your C phrase. But you can't you can't throw a ledger device in the microwave for thirty seconds to do the same thing. Or a cold card for that matter. Or a Bitbox or, a Bitkey.

49:15Richard Greaser I don't I don't think there's any, like, specific purpose, sign in devices, single purpose signing devices like this that you could throw on a microwave to be safe from. Makes you think. Did did you see that Mossad denied planning explosives

49:31Rod Palmer on the ledger devices that were compromised? I don't blame them. I don't blame them, but, you know, you have to expect that they will be suspect... Suspected.

49:40Richard Greaser So Neat Creations has been at the center of the timeline. He's had a big week. What what is going on, for him? And,

49:49Rod Palmer does it have to do with Pokemon cards? Yeah, he's become the main character, the main club, he's really just a, some say he's wacky, some say he's, starting to work, but he's just got a very memeable face and he's taken over. It's like a crash out weekend tidal wave of knee creation slop. And I think it's, it is a

50:18Rod Palmer harbinger or a sign, that anybody who thought meat creation slop was going away, is sadly mistaken.

50:28Richard Greaser My question is how long is he gonna sustain? Generally, these individuals that post like this, they have a they they go one of a few ways. Either they flame out eventually or they join a

50:39Rod Palmer Bitcoin Treasury company. I don't have a prediction for this one yet, but you're right. It's... This is either going to... He's either going to implode or explode from the spotlight. I don't know if he's ready for the spotlight. I don't know if he's mentally prepared for the constant

50:60Rod Palmer having to be on and being the main character in the spotlight. But maybe he'll surprise us, and maybe he will, maybe he'll be the new, you know, on the next commercial for strategy for Stretch. Maybe he'll be

51:16Rod Palmer adopted by the C Coiners and turned into a brand or he will crash out. Maybe we need a prediction market for it. Maybe we'll see him on a panel at a conference with, Fred Krueger.

51:27Richard Greaser Incredible.

51:29Rod Palmer See if he can... He has the discipline to do what it takes to get there. It'll be an exciting development to watch

51:35Richard Greaser going forward. While we're in October, Bitcoin is traded sideways and down slightly. I think the question on everybody's mind is, is not what our price predictions are, but where is there left to go to get price predictions?

51:50Richard Greaser What channels? I I guess, probably days, maybe. It's pretty much couchy.

51:55Rod Palmer Everything's kinda condensed and compressed down to, market predictions. So Calshi, Polymarket predicts, that's where you gotta go. The futures market, Bitcoin futures, now the chain street's not manipulating them, that's a good

52:11Rod Palmer signal. It's, it's boring now. It's like nobody telling gays, his price prediction gets thrown in the pot with Jack Mallers and Max Keiser, you know, Corey Clipston, even, you know, they even take, CK. It's not a number, it's not a prediction. It's just whatever the highest one is. It's not bullish enough.

52:33Rod Palmer They just put it all and they compute it and they, we're regression. It's... And then the market decides. So, if not, if this morning, we'll see what October is. The volatility in predictions

52:48Rod Palmer has been, tampered by our prediction markets.

52:53Richard Greaser Is this is this part of the reason why, Bitcoin podcasters are struggling so much anymore

52:60Rod Palmer or now? Well, just just just the ones who aren't sponsored by the prediction markets. Yeah. I mean, if you're sponsored by a prediction market, those Bitcoin podcasters are doing fine. Those podcasters in general. But if you don't have that sponsorship, you know, your plus slot prediction is not is not gonna carry the same same weight. Do do certain prediction markets have higher standing

53:24Rod Palmer impurity test, issuance culture? Like, PolyMarket

53:29Richard Greaser maybe has some, points against it for the heavy use of stablecoins. Predix, being Bitcoin native, has some points for it. I don't know about Calshi. I I think they... It...

53:43Rod Palmer You know, they all have their own community. You got the futures market. I was on Charles Schwab. Brian, I think it's just a market for... I think all all... I think the main three predicts the Polymarket and Kalshi. You can you can pay through Bitcoin from one one half away, at the end of the day. Well, folks,

54:05Richard Greaser I think this is wrap for this one, but as politicians and the and the heads of industry are trying to replace you with AI, just remember, it doesn't have to be one-sided, and maybe there's a future for the libertarian movement of replacing politicians with AI. Rod, do you have anything before I wrap this one up? Just don't,

54:25Rod Palmer don't fall to the doom of JFED.

54:27Richard Greaser Folks, thank you for listening to another edition of the Beagle Weekly, and we'll catch you next week. The bombs are falling across the ocean. Over here, the people quit their dreams.

56:20Richard Greaser They promised life would be good if we just in what we were told.
