0:02Kailey Welch This is Kaley Welch, and you are listening to the Woke AI TLDR on this week's Bugle Weekly episode.

0:10Rod Palmer Alright. Ready to dive into a world where listening to Bitcoin podcasts is practically mandatory, even for, like, the US Space Force. We're tackling an episode of the Bugle Weekly. It's known for, a unique take on Bitcoin, to say the least. You guys wanted to explore Bitcoin podcasting, and, well, this one's a doozy.

0:29Richard Greaser Unconventional. Might be putting it lightly. Rod and Dick, the hosts, are really pushing this idea that if you know Bitcoin, you know power. They even start with this hilarious fake ad for the Orange Berets, some elite space force unit that needs, get this, twenty one thousand hours of Bitcoin podcast listening. Twenty one thousand hours. Seriously. So knowing about hard forks makes you a weapon now. It's satire, obviously. But it shows this fascinating belief in Bitcoin circles. Information, especially Bitcoin info equals power.

0:59Rod Palmer Forget knowing the right people. They're saying what you know about Bitcoin is what matters. And guess what? They're the gatekeepers. And they make it clear that listening to them is basically required learning if you wanna understand well, anything important. They even joke about one host forgetting his headphones while dress shopping. Shopping.

1:16Richard Greaser Talk about lost Bitcoin podcast time. Right. The dress shopping dilemma. Mhmm. Funny, but it makes you think about how we see information now. Too much to consume, you start thinking more info equals being smarter. Especially with Bitcoin. Right? Always something new happening, another theory, another coin. Exactly. And that's where you need to evaluate what you're hearing. Speaking of which, this is where Rod and Dick get interesting. They start talking about the Israel Palestine conflict and how Bitcoin will fix it. Hold on. Bitcoin's gonna solve that. I must miss that memo. How do they even connect those two things? Well, they say, as Bitcoin makes economies more stable like through energy grids powered by mining, then a country like Israel could theoretically handle more conflict. They actually call it a thermodynamically

2:00Richard Greaser sound system for war. Thermodynamically

2:03Rod Palmer sound. That's a fancy way of saying more efficient. Right? So Bitcoin brings world peace by making war

2:11Richard Greaser easier. It's definitely a bold claim.

2:13Rod Palmer Hard to tell how much they believe it versus just their dark humor. Which is what makes them so entertaining, but also kinda unnerving, like their term Podcom goggles

2:22Richard Greaser because there are so few women in Bitcoin. The ones who are involved, well Seem more attractive because of the limited supply. Yeah. Yeah. The Broadcom goggles effect. Classic example of their humor mixed with, shall we say, outdated views on gender. So they see the lack of women, but their solution is basically objectification. It's that tension they know there should be more women, but are uneasy about it

2:43Rod Palmer too, especially when they talk about Haley Welch, this host of the Hawkeye Girl podcast. She's huge. Okay. Before we get to Haley, something else stood out. Remember their rant about Corey from Swan and the lawsuit? You mean what some are calling the Swan song? Oh, yeah. That's a whole other thing. They basically said Tether, the company behind Tether, the stablecoin that they were behind at all, stealing Swan's ideas by listening to Corey's podcasts. And that Swan's HR was recording job interviews

3:08Richard Greaser to steal ideas.

3:11Rod Palmer Talk about paranoid. Which knowing them could be the joke, but it makes you think how valuable IS information in Bitcoin

3:19Richard Greaser is talking about it enough to own it. Great question. And one we'll get into as we go further down the Bugle Weekly rabbit hole, corporate espionage, Bitcoin maximalism, and the rise of female Bitcoiners.

3:30Rod Palmer It's all here. So we've got Bitcoin fixing wars, corporate spies using podcasts, and this weird tension about women in Bitcoin. Where do we even go from here? This is where Rod and Dick's,

3:41Richard Greaser humor really comes in. Remember that Disney Star Wars reboot thing with the Bitcoin twist? Oh, yeah. They weren't serious, were they? I thought that was just them being well, them. Oh, they were totally serious. Yeah. Michael Sailor as Kylo Ren, Dennis Porter as, who else, Han Solo, and Lin Alden with the Bitcoin white paper as Rey. It's almost poetic how absurd it is. Okay. I'll admit. Picturing Michael Saylor doing his Sith Lord thing and ranting about energy consumption,

4:07Rod Palmer that's funny. But what are they getting at? The future of entertainment, how powerful the Bitcoin story is, or are they just messing with us? Probably all of the above. Remember their thing about Bitcoin

4:17Richard Greaser making war thermodynamically sound? This Star Wars thing. It's like that same idea, but for movies, they're using humor to show how Bitcoin is getting into everything, even a galaxy

4:29Rod Palmer far, far away. So it's not about Bitcoin as, like, tech or an investment. It's about Bitcoin as culture. Exactly. And this is where it gets interesting.

4:37Richard Greaser They love Bitcoin, but they're making fun of it too. Like, those court jesters, you know, telling the truth while everyone's laughing. They're making us look at the weird parts of Bitcoin. Yeah. The echo chambers, the cult leaders, how it's hard to even get in the door sometimes. And they're doing all this wearing orange berets, telling us to listen to forty hours of podcasts a week. It's brilliant, but so strange.

4:58Rod Palmer So how much is an act? When are they being for real? The big question. Right? Are they serious

5:04Richard Greaser or just really good trolls? It's hard to tell. And, honestly, I think that's the point. With so much info out there, anyone can be an expert. So how do you know who to trust? It's like they're saying, don't trust us. Don't trust anyone. Figure it out yourself. Exactly. Think critically. Question everything, even especially the stuff that makes you laugh. When the world is already absurd,

5:27Rod Palmer thinking for yourself is the most important thing. So it's not how much Bitcoin you have. It's how much you think about it, even the tough questions. Exactly. See the good, the bad, the funny, even the crazy parts of Bitcoin. And speaking of crazy, we still haven't talked about Hayley Welch and the whole big booty Latina Bitcoiner thing. But, yes, the Hayley Welch hypothesis Yeah. And the BBL theory of adoption. Two sides of the same coin, if you will. Alright. We're back, and I'm still stuck on that Bitcoin Star Wars idea. But onto something maybe weirder, they were really hung up on Hailey Welch, the Hawkeye Girl podcaster.

6:04Richard Greaser What's the deal there? It's not so much Hailey herself, but what she means. Like, a woman with a big platform coming into Bitcoin, which is, you know, mostly guys. Right. Like, their whole podcom goggles thing, which is kinda gross. Yeah. But it shows the problem. Right? Too many dudes. But then they go on about Hailey taking over and this big booty Latina thing. Mhmm. Not exactly feminist heroes, are they? So they want more women. But if a woman's actually successful, they freak out. It's messed up. Right? Like, they get the diversity is good, new voices, all that. Mhmm. But, also, someone else is powerful now. Which is ironic because they were just ranting about open info, no more hierarchies, all that. Totally. They preach decentralization, but then act like they own the place. And don't forget, Tether stealing Swan's secrets through podcasts.

6:48Rod Palmer It's like they think just talking about Bitcoin means they deserve all the rewards, the whole pie. Right. Like, they invented

6:54Richard Greaser it. It makes zero sense. Bitcoin's literally built on sharing open source code working together. They're stuck in this, like, if someone else wins, they lose kind of thinking. Yeah. And that's too bad. They miss the bigger picture. A Bitcoin world where everyone's welcome could be amazing.

7:12Rod Palmer So where does this leave us? What did we learn from Rod and Dick's unique perspective?

7:17Richard Greaser For me, it's think for yourself. As crazy as they are, Rod and Dick make you question things. You see your own biases and how complex Bitcoin really is. Because it's not the podcast hours. It's thinking about what they said, making up your own mind. Exactly. There's no one right answer in Bitcoin. It's messy. It's funny. It's sometimes nuts. That's part of it. And, hey, maybe a few more big booty Latinas around would make it more interesting. Who knows? Now that's a prediction I can get behind. This has been wild, guys. Hopefully, you learned a little something about Bitcoin, podcasts, and not taking ourselves too seriously.

7:49Rod Palmer Until next time, keep thinking, keep digging, and please put those Podcom goggles away.

7:58Kailey Welch Thanks for listening to this week's TLDR. Let us know what you thought of Woke AI's opinion on the show and if we should continue doing
