Just Stop Ordinals is a fringe Bitcoin activist group known for its radical stance against the use of Bitcoin blockspace for anything other than “pure monetary transactions.” The group views Ordinals, inscriptions, meme coins, NFTs, and any form of non-payment data storage on the Bitcoin blockchain as a form of digital pollution.

Inspired by climate protest movements and zero-fee purists, Just Stop Ordinals employs high-drama tactics, media pressure, and occasionally hilarious performance art to make their point: Bitcoin is for value transfer—not JPEG graffiti.

Just Stop Ordinals is never founded and never disbanded; it only ever resurfaces. The Bugle files each reappearance in identical breaking-news register, spanning December 2023 to February 2026 without the framing ever aging.

The group’s self-image runs on total confidence, and the timeline is happy to hand it laurels. When mempool fees collapsed in December 2023, the Bugle awarded the win directly to the activists — over Udi Wertheimer, the Ordinals-era antagonist they treat as their arch-rival.

The Ripple-psyop counter-theory

Not everyone accepts the group at face value. PODCONF® advanced a rival explanation: that anti-Ordinals sentiment is externally financed sabotage, and that its symptom has a clinical name.

The theory did not survive contact with the group. PODCONF® later attributed the leak of its own Media Partnership Agreement to Just Stop Ordinals, terminating a partnership over it — the closest thing the group has to a documented operation.
