Jacob (Anthropic researcher)

Jacob is a former Anthropic AI-safety researcher identified only by his first name in Timmy Tether Guest Hosts Bugle Weekly. Timmy Tether says Jacob quit and put a ten-percent probability on AI killing humanity.1

Timmy interprets the ensuing television tour as kayfabe aimed at older viewers who want the United States to win an AI race against China.2 The later clanker recap repeats that interpretation while keeping it explicitly attached to Timmy’s argument.3
