+Before his appointment, Phil was "a great student" working part-time as a lifeguard while studying Native American Studies at a well respected university. At family gatherings he urged his aunt to buy Dogecoin. His conversion came when Dogecoin dropped after Elon Musk's SNL appearance: "I really thought that Dogecoin was going to the moon... That's when I realized it was all a scam and it was backed by nothing."
